At PPTL, we prioritize sustainability and ESG goals by adhering to relevant IFC standards and the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our efforts focus on protecting the environment, upholding labor standards, prioritizing health and safety, ensuring responsible supply chain practices, and addressing our carbon footprint and climate change impact.
While our overall focus encompasses various sustainability goals, we have honed in on the following commitments to guide our efforts.
OUR COMMITMENTS
Environmental Stewardship
- Sustainable Manufacturing Practices:We follow IFC’s Performance Standard 3 on Resource Efficiency and Pollution Prevention and support SDG 13 (Climate Action) by using eco-friendly materials and reducing our environmental impact while delivering quality products. Our dedication to climate action is demonstrated by the installation of a hybrid solar power project, reflecting our commitment to using sustainable and renewable energy sources.
- Carbon Footprint Reduction: We are dedicated to minimizing our carbon emissions through innovative practices and technologies.
Labor
- Fair Wages and Safe Working Conditions: In line with IFC’s Performance Standard 2 on Labor and Working Conditions and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), we ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for workers’ rights.
Health and Safety
- Community Health and Safety: Adhering to IFC’s Performance Standard 4 on Community Health, Safety, and Security and supporting SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), we implement measures such as air and water quality monitoring, worker training programs, and emergency preparedness plans to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and communities.
Responsible Supply Chain
- Environmental and Social Risk Management: We adhere to IFC’s Performance Standard 1 and contribute to SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by implementing responsible sourcing, supplier vetting, and waste reduction practices.
Food Security
- Safe and Efficient Storage:In support of SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), we are dedicated to contributing to food security by producing packaging solutions that ensure the safe and efficient storage and transportation of agricultural products.

Environment Social Management System (ESMS)
PPTL is committed to contributing to sustainable economic growth through its operations by implementing the Environmental Social Management System (ESMS).
PPTL is guided by the principles of good practice set out in the following international standards and guidelines:

- International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards (2012).
- International Labour Organization (ILO) Core Conventions and Basic Terms and Conditions of Work.
